New Bug Seating System Receives Facelift
March 30, 2011, Angola, IN—The New Bug Seating System, manufactured in Foligno, Italy by Ormesa and distributed by Innovation In Motion, has undergone some exciting changes.
The upholstery, which is fire-resistant, breathable, washable, and wear resistant, will now be available in four new colors: lilac, lime green, charcoal grey, and metallic silver, with a black mesh overlay. The new upholstery is compatible with the latest New Bug seat and will be available by the summer.
The versatile seating system, which includes a gas-assist tilt and recline mechanism built into the seat itself, will now offer 40 degrees of tilt, an improvement from the 25 degree tilt offered previously.
The New Bug, available in two sizes, is ideal for children with moderate to severe positioning needs, and offers a 3-wheel jogging stroller base, a high-low feeding base, and a crash-tested 4-wheel stroller base. Many positioning options are available. Maximum weight capacity on the New Bug is 100 lbs.

Ormesa Clip Stroller a Hit With One User
One user writes,
"Thought I'd share information on the pushchair/wheelchair that we use for Norman (13yr old), in case it is of interest to anyone.
The Clip 4 from Ormesa folds umbrella style. We have tried many wheelchairs and many of them that have a recline for young teenagers/adults are quite ugly, bulky and very heavy. I like the Clip 4 as it allows some degree of recline (using 2 sets of zips in the back). It doesn't scream "disability".
As our kids get older, it does get harder to find something that looks reasonably smart and good and which doesn't weigh a ton and I have to say that we have tried many (we even had a wheelchair that you could put in horizontal position, like a bed and it really felt like driving a lorry).
Our wheelchair service was able to order it and we were also able to make for additional height etc."
Pediatric X5
Innovation in Motion is happy to announce that we are now offering an X5 that is specifically designed for kids. The pediatric version has rehab seating that can grow with the child and offers smaller casters and forks. This allows for a smaller turning radius, and makes the X5 even easier to maneuver in smaller or crowded areas (such as the hallways in a school). The pediatric X5 can be ordered with the knobby tires, the narrow tires, or both. The knobbys can be used indoors and out and make the chair capable of traversing through sand, snow, and mud, and over obstacles. The narrow tires are predominately for indoor use. If both tires are ordered, instructions on how to quickly and easily switch between the two will be sent along with the unit. Call today for more details.
New Novus has New Potential
The New Novus has been known as a stroller that will fit those end users who have previously been difficult to seat. The New Novus comfortably fits patients who have a stocky or wider frame. There was only one draw back to the New Novus previously—it was not crash tested. This recently changed and has been crash tested under WC-19 standards! It does very well on multiple surfaces and is available in three sizes. The largest size will accommodate a weight of 154 lbs. It folds for transport and recline comes standard. There is growth capability in the seat width, seat depth, and seat back. The fabric is pre-engineered for positioning straps and accessories. Like the rest of the line, the New Novus is loved by patients and parents alike because it does not look like medical equipment. |
